Sandalwood Wrist Mala Kit with your choice of cord & thread colors, make your own mala

You’ll have everything you need to craft your own high quality hand-knotted 27 bead sandwood mala with this kit. This size mala is called a “wrist mala” because with this 7mm size bead, it can also be worn as a bracelet for most people. And, you can add more knots or a little extra space between each bead to make it larger if needed. You’ll have enough cord to make this a 2nd time if you need to adjust the size.

It is also a great option to get a feel for making a knotted mala as it is only a quarter the size. And it is also the perfect size to use for teaching a mala workshops as well. Contact the shop for a bundle discount.

Custom requests are welcome! By default you will get a matching tassel color but if you would like a different color among the options shown, please leave a note at checkout or use the personalization box. We have many other colors of tassel thread available so feel free to send any custom requests our way and we will do our best to help!

1. 29 sandalwood mala beads in 7mm size (27 for mala beads, 1 for the guru bead, + 1 extra)

2. Knotting cord with needle attached

3. Matching tassel thread

4. A metal pin to aid with knotting

5. Instructions on how to make a knotted mala and handmade tassel. In addition, I’ll be available to answer any questions about crafting your mala!

6. An organza bag to store your mala.

*You can customize this kit in the personalization box by requesting a different color tassel & knotting color. Tassel thread will either come in a small skein or wrapped onto a card.
