0.98mm Nylon Cord with needle – size 12 Griffin nylon cord, neutral colors, strong durable cord
$3.35
Griffin makes the best knotting cord on the market as it is very easy to use with the needle attached, you don’t have to double it and deal with knotting 2 strands (which can get tangled). It is 0.98mm thick and you get 2m per pack.
Griffin nylon power beading cord has a twisted stainless steel needle at the end, which saves threading time & frustration. Doubling the thread is unnecessary, and the cord can be easily knotted because the thread has the correct twist. (please note, doubling the thread also makes it too short to knot a 108 bead mala)

Currently we only have a few neutral colors in stock but plan to expand the color selection in the future.
Using this to knot a mala? You likely will need 2 packs if it is a full 108 bead mala. If your beads are 1.5mm or larger, the thread can go through twice so that you can hide the loose ends and tie the 2 strands together. We recommend a little jewelers cement to dab onto the cord for a secure knot.

Each card contains approximately 79 inches (2 meters) of cord.
It is strong and durable, and due to the way it is twisted, will stretch slightly when pulled and then go back to it’s original length. If you have any questions about the length and if it is long enough for your mala, please contact me with questions.
